ENRICO DUYA
President
Civil Engineer by profession with the degree earned from the University of Santo Tomas. Well-rounded in engineering and construction aspects, with solid experience from various construction companies including stints with San Miguel Corporation – Polo Brewery’s Civil Works Department as Head Civil Engineer and the Laus Group of Companies as Project Manager. RICOND Construction Company---a contraction of his name---was born from and initiative in 1989. He is the driving force behind RR Tandem Construction Corporation.
His vast and comprehensive construction insights were gained when he joined AO Torres Construction as Assistant Project Engineer, supervising projects, material take-off and personnel. As Project Manager of JV Buan Construction, he was responsible for ensuring highest quality workmanship of various projects and designs. He also designed and supervised the construction of sewage systems, roadways and bridges as Project Engineer of DY Sibug Construction. His stint as Head Civil Works, Engineering of San Miguel Corporation’s Polo Brewery he honed his engineering prowess and supervisory skills further as he saw to the daily civil works and maintenance of the brewing plant as well as monitor the accomplishments of contractors involved in the various projects.
As top man and think tank of RR Tandem, he personally oversees project developments to ensure the highest quality standards the company is known for.
Under his unparalleled leadership, the company as become and continues to be a committed and dedicated member of the Philippine Contractors’ Association.
Aside from personally attending to RR Tandem, he is also the President of 874 Clothe Shop, an outfit engaged in the dealership of Levi’s and Dockers, and with several stores at Robinsons Starmills Pampanga, Philippines; the Gateway Mall in Cubao, Quezon City,Philippines; and Market! Market! in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig, Metro Manila,Philippines.
ALLAN JOSEPH T. DE DIOS
General Manager
Civil Engineer by profession from the University of Santo Tomas circa 1988. A true-blooded construction man from roots to profession, he started his career right after finishing his secondary schooling and worked for the family-owned PR de Dios Construction.
For 12 years, while doubling as student and Project Manager for the company, he perfected the construction craft, enriched his engineering experience and accomplished numerous projects. These include among others, a three-storey building in San Francisco del Monte, Quezon City, Philippines completed in 1985; the Safer Bank Building in San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines built in 1987; from 1989 to 1991 the development and construction of Greenville in San Jose, Executive Village in Dolores, and Franda Village in San Nicolas---all in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines; and multiple civil construction works of various types at San Miguel Corporation’s Polo, San Fernando, Mandaue and Makati Breweries and Offices from 1990 to 1993.
After these, he moved on with projects at the Social Action Center of Pampanga (Maimpis, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines) in 1993 before building the Big Splash Resort at Hermosa, Bataan, Philippines in 1994. Afterwards, he has had various government projects in the province of Tarlac, Philippines as well with the Department of Trade and Industry in Makati City, Philippines.
In 1995, he joined RR Tandem as Operations Manager, seeing to every detail its construction projects and day-to-day operations.
Aside from his active involvement with socio-civic groups Rotary Club of Metro San Fernando, the Cabalen Jaycees, the Pampanga Golfers’ Association, and the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, he also runs his own engineering companies as President of both PEMARR Construction and Kalayaan Equipment Corporation.
HONORATO D. DUYA
Vice-President, Marketing & Finance
The company’s compleat and well-rounded veep for Marketing and Finance is a 1957 Accountancy graduate of the University of the East with post graduate studies at the Louie Allen School of Business.
A corporate man in heart and mind, he has undergone special courses in Supervisory, Marketing, Time and Financial Management, Effective Communication, Personnel Management and Administration, Safety Management, Human Behavior and Productivity, and Public Relations and Seven Basic Habits.
He has been with San Miguel Corporation since 1957, rising from the ranks as Bookkeeper to such prominent and challenging positions as Materials Superintendent, Personnel Officer, Finance Manager, Administrative Officer until he retired as Trade Relations Manager in 1998.
A very active socio-civic and business leader, he has recently been elected to the Presidency of the Pampanga Golfers Association and the Chair of the Clark Development Corporation Golf and Country Club Convenors’ Group. He holds the distinction of being the most awarded member of the Rotary Club of San Fernando (P) being a Paul Harris Fellow in 1993. At the same time, he has garnered numerous feathers on his cap as Charter President of the Panday Pira Toastmasters Club, the Pampanga Tenpin Bowling Association, the Pampanga Economic Council, the Knights of Columbus, the San Fernando Chamber of Commerce and Industry and several other institutions whose growth he propelled. These, in fact, earned him the Most Outstanding Civil Leader of Pampanga Award in 1986. To date, he remains the Treasurer of the Greenfields Country Club and Chairman of the SFCCI’s Membership Committee.
Retired from the rigors of employment, he has focused on his socio-civic activities and is now into sugarcane planting and the leasing business.
EDITH LAUS-DUYA
Vice-President, Materials
A Business Management graduate of the Assumption Convent (San Lorenzo, Makati City, Philippines) in 1982, the sole woman VP in RR Tandem’s roster possesses a keen acumen for construction materials which keeps the company well within its track standards. Prior to her involvement with RR Tandem, she has been an account executive for a prestigious travel agency in Makati. She has been with RICOND Construction since its inception and has seen its transformation to RR Tandem when she became its Treasurer–Secretary before assuming the position of Vice-President for Materials.
Aside from her involvement with the construction industry, she has been an authorized dealer of Levi’s Strauss Philippines, Inc. since 1984 and operates and manages outlets through the dealership: Men’s World Clothe Shop’s Levi’s and Dockers stores at Robinsons Starmills in Pampanga, Philippines; Market, Market! in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines; and at the Gateway Mall in Cubao, Quezon City, Philippines.
Currently, she is the Treasurer of 874 Clothe Shop Corporation.
Her socio-civic affiliation, where she had been active until its dissolution in 2004, is with the Venture Club of the Americas (Pampanga Chapter), the daughter club of the Soroptimist International, having been a Charter Member, Director and Past President.
